NOTICES:

Memorial Day Weekend, parking will be permitted at the 48th Street Lot.

Beach Tags are enforced from 1st - 94th Streets, and bay side of the Townsends Inlet Bridge, effective Saturday May 29th. Tags can be purchased at the Beach Tag office daily from 8:00AM - 4:00PM or from a Tag Checker on the Beach.

Tri for Our Veterans Triathlon is scheduled to take place on Saturday May 29th. Landis Avenue from JFK Boulevard, north to the Strathmere Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7:00AM - 9:30AM.

Residential trash pick-up is as follows: Monday May 31st, 45th - 70th Streets; Tuesday June 1st, 71st - 94th Streets; Wednesday June 2nd, 1st - 44th Streets.

2nd quarter Water and Sewer bills are due June 1st. Pay at City Hall, Monday through Friday from 9:00AM - 4:00PM by June 10th to avoid interest charges.

City Wide bulk trash pick-up is schedule for Thursday June 3rd. Place all items by the curb.

Sea Isle City Beach Replenishment Update

The beach fill project is scheduled to start this week. Dredges will mobilize in Townsend's Inlet, with one pumping sand to Avalon and the other pumping sand to Sea Isle City.

Sand placement is expected to start in Sea Isle City around Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at 94th Street. The work will proceed northward to 73rd Street.

Approximately 3 to 4 blocks of beach will be closed during sand placement, and beaches to the north and south of the fill zone will be open to the public.

The project is expected to be completed around mid-June.

Busch's Project Gets Approvals for Phase 1~~

Phase 1 of the redevelopment of Busch's just received their approvals. Construction should begin in October. There will be parking underneath the building, first floor will feature 2-3 restaurants with full service bars. There will be 3 and 4 bedroom condos. The 4 bedrooms will have 3 full baths, be approx. 1700sf and are located on the corners of the building with large decks. The 3 bedrooms will be in the mid-$400Ks.
