Market Update

There have been 111 homes that have gone under contract or sold since January 1, 2007.

Here is the breakdown of what has closed/sold in the last week.

-117 84th-asking $729,000, sold for $700,000
- 134 81th-asking $689,000, sold for $634,000
-4402 Park-asking $659,000, sold for $650,000
-137 72nd-asking $725,000, sold for $684,000
-137 71st-asking $829,000, sold for $800,000
-122 79th-asking $899,000, sold for $820,000
-21 77th-asking $899,000, sold for $850,000
-32 32nd-asking $989,000, sold for $951,250
-4426 Venicean-asking $999,000, sold for $995,000

Three of these homes were new construction. These home came down an average of approx. 5% off their listing prices.

The race to see who will be Sea Isle City's Mayor and 5 Council Members is in full swing! You will see signs up everywhere and parties galore! The next two weeks will be very interesting! Remember if you are registered to vote in Sea Isle, to vote on May 8th!

-26 65th St.-asking $875,000, sold for $810,000
-101 61st St-asking $699,000, sold for $665,000
-219 45th St-asking $649,000, sold for $635,000
-7730 Roberts-asking $1,775,000, sold for $1,775,000
-7301 Central-asking $629,000, sold for $610,000

So the average reduction off of asking price was approx. 4%. Three of the homes were new construction.

5 of these homes were new construction and the average percentage that these homes reduced from their asking price was 5%.

Important Sea Isle City Info-School & Weather

The Weather Channel is predicting a very strong storm tomorrow, into Monday. They are predicting moderate to severe tidal flooding, and very strong wind gusts! If you are in a low lying area move your cars to higher ground and secure everything!


Also, on Monday, April 16th and Monday, April 23rd, 7:00-8:30, there will be a town-wide meeting at the Public School about the future of our school. You will be able to give your opinions about what should be done. If you are a tax payer in Sea Isle you should attend!

We are now at 94 homes sold or under contract since January 1, 2007. The market is still doing well, but seems to have slowed down a little.

Here is the breakdown from the last 7 days:

-9 44th St., asking $525K, sold for $525K
-115 40th St., asking $349K,sold for $325K
-306 44th St., asking $675K, sold for $670K
-234 38th St., asking $575K, sold for $529K
-4808 Landis, asking $739,777, sold for $700K
-6901 Pleasure, asking $1,850,000, sold for $1,675,000
-126 88th St., asking $425K, sold for $425K

Two of these were new construction, the rest were resales. The average percentage that these homes have come down was approx. 4%.
