Someone Got a Great Deal!!
Typically we have been seeing new construction come down about $20K-$30K.
Once again, keep in mind, that even though many homes have sold and gone under contract, we are still in a Buyers' market. There are still approximately 350 homes for sale in Sea Isle!
Be sure to check my website to see my top picks for the best buys in Sea Isle City! I try to update it at least once a week!

Sea Isle City Polar Bear Plunge and Weather
The 13th Annual Polar Bear Plunge is this upcoming weekend and will be held on Saturday, at 2pm, at JFK and the beach. If you are feeling adventurous you can still register! Same day registration is 10am to 12pm at LaCosta Lounge at JFK and Landis and the cost is $25. There is a post-party at the LaCosta Lounge right after the plunge--free food and live entertainment!
If you have never experienced the Polar Bear Plunge before, it is quite an experience and lots of fun! There are hundreds of people who brave the frigid temperatures, air and water, many in costumes! This will be the final year of the reining Ice Queen, Irene Jameson, 82 years old, who rides in on a throne made of ice. Irene has been the queen for the past 12 years and has raised over $30,000 in donations for the family activities held in Sea Isle over the summer. She is quite an inspiration! Go Irene!

Welcome!
Welcome to my new blog site! I will be posting what is going on in Sea Isle City and the SIC Real Estate Market.
Well, the market has picked up dramatically down here since January 1st! Since the first of the year, 35 homes have gone under contract or sold! We have even been seeing multiple offers on properties, which we haven't seen in a while. This does not mean that is has switched to a Seller's Market, it still remains a strong Buyer's Market with approximately 365 homes for sale in Sea Isle alone. The prices are staying stable, not increasing, and not as many price reductions as we have seen previously. Interest rates are still low so it remains an excellent time to buy!
One issue that I have been coming across is that some Buyers are looking to purchase vacation homes for themselves and not as a rental investments. The rental market seems to be going strong, and many homes that are for sale are now getting rentals in them. So, if you are looking for a home to use, act sooner, rather than later, the longer you wait the more tenants might be in place.
